WORK SAMPLES
Creative Thinking

These are examples from my photography business, where I work with clients to capture meaningful moments and create visually appealing images. Through this experience, I have developed strong creative thinking skills by planning shoots, choosing locations, and using different lighting and editing techniques to perfect each image. Each session requires me to think outside the box and adapt to different environments, clients, and challenges. Starting my own photography business has not only allowed me to expand my creative thinking skills, but it has also helped me build entrepreneurial skills such as setting prices, time management, staying organized, and meeting deadlines. This experience has taught me effective communication, responsibility, independence, and how to turn my passion into a successful business while continuing to grow creatively and professionally.

Initiative

Training for and completing a half-marathon pushed me to take initiative and challenge myself in a completely new way. I had no prior cross-country or track background, so I trained entirely on my own, which required strong self-discipline and motivation. I committed to a consistent training schedule and dedicated myself to proper nutrition. I was able to push myself both physically and mentally, even on the days it felt difficult. Throughout the process, I learned how to manage my time and build mental toughness while staying focused on reaching my goal. Completing my first half-marathon and placing second in my age group demonstrated my ability to face adversity and persevere through physically and mentally challenging situations. This experience helped me grow in independence, perseverance, and confidence while continuing to challenge myself to improve.

Accountability

Working as an administrative assistant at Hornet Corporation for the past two years has strengthened my sense of accountability and responsibility in a professional environment. In this role, I manage scheduling, organize important documents, and provide support to ensure daily operations run smoothly. This position requires me to be punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented, as others depend on me to complete tasks accurately and on time. I have learned how to prioritize responsibilities, manage my time effectively, and stay organized while balancing school, athletics, and my photography business. This experience has helped me develop a strong work ethic, accountability, and professionalism, preparing me for my future academic and career opportunities.
